“Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night...”
CPR’s engineering team is responsible for maintaining our statewide
broadcasts from 52 transmitters and translators. Many are located
on remote mountaintops, sometimes requiring access by snowshoe!
The intricate systems are designed with redundancies and fail-safes,
but emergency maintenance is occasionally required when issues
